About Event
On December 15, the 14th Khachaturian International Festival will conclude with a concert by the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, dedicated to the memory of renowned Armenian musicologist and professor Irina Tigranova.
The evening’s program will feature Shostakovich’s Piano Concerto No. 1, performed by pianist Alexander Malofeev. In the second half, Terterian’s celebrated Symphony No. 3 will be performed, under the baton of conductor Sergey Smbatyan.
The festival is organized by the Aram Khachaturian Cultural Foundation with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia.
