English composer and musical theater impresario Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber’s glamorous musical “Sunset Boulevard” will be performed in Yerevan on April 6 to 12. The three-time Tony Award winner musical is one of the most celebrated pieces of art in the genre.
The captivating Hollywood story will be staged based on the homonymous Oscar-winning film by Billy Wilder, featuring the world-famous singer and actress Tamara Gverdtsiteli as Norma Desmond.
Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Tony-Award-winning score will be performed by the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra.
The musical is directed by Anton Mouzykantskii.
